Col. Ralph A. Loveland, partner in the Cook Floor Tile Co. here (right foreground) receives the legion of merit award from Lt. Col. John H. Derrick, executive officer of the JAG school here. Col. Loveland was given the award for his services as commander of the 346th engineer general service regiment in France, Belgium and Germany. In the background are Capt. Gerald Horn, adjutant of the JAG school (left) and Lt. Col. John Ritchie, military justice director, also of the JAG school (right).
