Graduates of Community High School, Ann Arbor's alternative high school, celebrated commencement with an untraditional ceremony Tuesday. Community High secretary Bonnie Kokelaar provides service with a smile Wednesday at the McDonald's restaurant on Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor. She was one of numerous local school employees, including principals, who participated in McDonald's McEducator's Day, a statewide event for educators to learn about the jobs their students have. Part of the revenue from the shifts worked will be donated to the schools.
