Chicago Bull star George Gervin returned to his Bowen Field House stomping grounds Wednesday night to have his EMU jersey No. 24 retired in a ceremony before 3,100 fans. 'It's a good feeling to come back. This is where it all began for me. I had a lot of good times here,' The Iceman said. 'There's a lot of meaning having my number retired. Twenty-four meant a lot to me. It's exciting to know people appreciate what you've done.'
