Crushed gravel forms the floor below the staircase, an area used for potted plants and featuring in-the-gravel lighting. The fireplace front and hearth have Italian marble "bricks" which are hand-carved. The color of the marble was used to help set the interior decor, including color of walls, furnishings and equipment.
