In Ancient Tradition Cornetist David Steiner greets Linda and Sam Wartinbee as, carrying palms, they enter Douglas Chapel at First Congregational Church. A similar observance is planned on Palm Sunday when Church School children will reenact the traditional procession of the Christian churches in the Middle Ages. David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Steiner of 1914 Winsted. Linda and Sam's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Wartinbee of 1534 Covington. The palms are symbols of victory and rejoicing.
