Sixteen veteran pilots of Capital Airlines-PCA line up at Willow Run beside the plane which carried them, as passengers, to New York yesterday. Along with 46 other PCA pilots they were feted at a banquet honoring those who have flown more than 1,000,000 miles. Standing, left to right, are: W. J. McDonough, Chicago; W. Angell, Willow Run; L. Leading veteran is McClaflin, who has flown 16,000 hours and is working on his third million miles.

GIANT DC-4 TAKES ON PASSENGERS: The size of the planes Capital Airlines-PCA lands at Willow Run airport on its new schedule begun on Saturday may be judged from this photograph taken when the first stop and takeoff were made. The airline has set up a waiting room in No. 1 hangar and has an experienced ground crew on hand to service the huge liners. Other lines may begin using the airport soon.
