POTTERY FOR KIDDIES - Andrew Stewart, whose mom Kris is a member of The Potters' Guild, inspects some of the goods to be offered at the guild's spring sale on June 1 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The outdoor display of items for the sale will be arranged in front of guild studios at 201 Hill St. The guild is a non-profit cooperative of 40 clayworkers who share the work of maintaining a studio and providing classes for the community. Andrew is well within the age limit for the Kiddies' Table, a special feature of Potters' Guild events. The assortment of child-sized ceramics (all $2 or less) is made especially for and sold only to children under 12 years old. For those 12 and over, the selection includes handcrafted stoneware, porcelain and ovenware clay, wall hangings and sculpture.
