A FAVORITE IN THE MICHIGAN ARTISTS' SHOW: "Sand Dunes" by Carl Hoerman of Saugatuck is one of the paintings in a large collection of work by contemporary Michigan artists to be seen in the galleries of the Rackham building daily until June 8. The painting is quite generally admired for its decorative value as well as for its interpretation of the Michigan scene. The show is sponsored by the art history group of the Faculty Women's Club.

Wilt (left) of 1301 Pomona Rd., taking time out to watch Mrs. Roberta McClure of 2110 Alice St. put finishing touches on a decorative pagoda. Art works of various types will be offered at the 50 cents to $50 sale, which opens at 8 p.m. today and will run from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on weekdays through December 5.
