QUITE A QUILT - Debbie Nichols, 14, (from left) Shelley Ressler, 12, art teacher Madelaine Conboy and Elizabeth Dempster, 14, complete work on a quilt at Clague School. Each of the 35 schools in Ann Arbor contributed a square for the quilt. They depict life in the city, including parks, the University of Michigan, the old fire hall and school buildings. Started last fall, the quilt will be presented to the Board of Education as part of Youth Art Month. (Staff photo by Deborah Ouellette)
