HOOVER WORKERS RECEIVE MINUTE MAN FLAG: Ninety-eight per cent enrollment in the War bonds salary-saving plan brought employes of the Hoover Ball & Bearing Co. the government's Minute Man flag which is shown being tied to the plant's flagpole during ceremonies yesterday noon. Shown on the raised platform supervising raising of the flag are, left to right, Mayor Leigh J. Young, who presented the flag; Cone W. Lighthall, Hoover general manager; Durwood Prochnow, men's representative on the employe committee in charge of the plant's salary-saving program; and Mrs. Mertie Hanna, women employe's representative.
