Nordman of 709 Granger Ave., a milkman in Ann Arbor for some 35 years, realized a lifelong ambition last night when he played Santa Claus for customers' children at the Tuomy Hills Service Station, Washtenaw Ave. and Stadium Blvd. His granddaughters, Lauren, 2, and Steven Ashbay, 6, are his appreciative audience. They are the children of Cecil J. Ashbay, manager of the station, and Mrs. Ashbay.

UPSET CAR GETS HEAVE-HO: Wrecking crewmen launch a back-to-normal movement for this car, which skidded into a ditch and overturned alongside Geddes Ave. just east of Vinewood Blvd. shortly after 8 o'clock this morning. Three occupants, all University students on their way from Willow Village to Ann Arbor, escaped injury. The driver, Herbert H. Meyer, 25, a graduate student from Kalamazoo who lives at 1014 E. Harwich Ct., Willow Village, said the crash occurred when he applied his brakes suddenly to avoid hitting another car that drove out into Geddes from a side-road. The other machine went on without stopping, he said.
