Pie Throwing Contest at Forestbrooke Athletic Club Pol, September 1964 Photographer: Duane Scheel

Year:

Published In:
Ann Arbor News, September 4, 1964
Caption:
Pie In The Eye All is fair in love and pie-throwing. Even throwing the baker into the pool for putting only pie-topping in her pie pans is allowable. That's Aunt Ellen the baker on the left taking a leap of her own accord (she wanted was the topping off her top.) The messy battle took place yesterday at the specially decorated Forestbrooke Subdivision pool. Proceeds from two talent shows amounted to $30 to be sent to CARE.
