GENEROSITY - A can drive at Huron High School, sponsored by the Black Student Union, recently gathered some 750 cans of food. The Salvation Army, represented by Colonel Harold Crowell, center, will distribute the cans to needy persons during Thanksgiving and Christmas. In the front row to the left of Crowell are Shunda Hunt (in blazer), vice president of the Black Student Union, and Sonja Myers, the union's community service chairperson. Behind them are members of teacher Kim Graff's second and third hour intensive English classes, which collected the most cans in the combined class category. Teacher John Nordlinger's third hour lifetime sports class won the single class contest.
