Storm downs power lines: Parts of the city were without electrical power twice during Memorial Day storms which swept Michigan and the Midwest. Above, fallen power lines (left center and extreme right) on Kellogg St. "spark" in the rear yard of the Cecil H. Molkentien residence, 1223 Wright St., badly burning a cherry tree-(center background). These lines and others downed in the area by lightning late yesterday morning cut off electricity for many northside homes before servicemen could repair the damage.
