Work progresses at the new $399,000 Bader Elementary School. Construction, set back a week by a strike by iron workers, is scheduled to be completed in time for the opening of school in the fall. The building contains 21,820 square feet and is laid out in three units - one to house the first through third grades; another for grades four, five and six; and a unit for office area, a gymnasium and an assembly room. The school is located on Bedford near Overidge. Colvin, Robinson, Wright and Associates are the architects for the school project.
