May festival reserved seat schedule
Read Carefully
Course Reserved Seat Tickets for the Twenty-first May Festival may be purchased, either by mail or in person, at the office of the University School of Music, up to and including Saturday, May 2, in accordance with the schedule of prices and dates given below.
In order that those who wish to secure tickets by mail may have an equal chance with those who come in person, half of the seats in the auditorium will be held for mail orders.
In order that the sale of seats may be as fair as possible to all patrons, not more than ten seats will be sold to any one person at one time.
Rows A, B and C on the Main Foor will be unavailable since they will be covered by a temporary stage.
MAIL ORDERS
Mail orders will be filled from the odd numbered seats (right hand halves of all sections as the auditorium is entered), in advance, in the order of receipt, except that all mail orders received prior to Monday, March 2, will be considered as of that date.
Mail orders will not be considered, unless accompanied by remittance to cover cost of tickets.
?Tickets ordered by mail, unless otherwise directed or unless accompanied by registration fee, will be sent out within a day or two after the respective block has gone on public Sale, by ordinary mail, at patrons risk.
PUBLIC SALES
AH even numbered seats (left hand halves of all sections as the auditorium is entered), as well as such odd numbered seats as shall not have been ordered by mail, will be offered to the general public in accordance with the schedule given below.
All public sales will begin at 8 :oo o'clock in the morning.
BLOCK A
Block A consisting of seats on the Main Floor-Sections II-III-IV--Rows J-AA inclusive, and First Balcony--First Six Rows--(A-B-C-D-E-F) will be placed on sale Monday day morning, March 9, at $6.50 each (or $3.50 each if "cover coupon" of Pre-festival ticket is exchanged).
On Saturday morning, March 14, all unsold seats in Block A will be redlced to $6.00 each (or $3.00 each if Pre-festival "cover coupon" is exchanged).
BLOCK B
Consisting of seats on the Main Floor-Sections I and V entire, and the Front Six Rows (D-E-F-G-H-I) and the Rear Three Rows (BB-CC-DD) in Sections II-III-IV; .First Balcony--Roivs G to O inclusive; and Second Balcony Sections XI-XII-XIII-XIVXV-XVI will be placed on sale Monday morning, March 16, at $5.50 each (or $2.50 each if Pre-festival ''cover coupon" is exchanged).
On Saturday morning, March 21, all unsold seats in Block-B will be reduced to $5.00 each (or $2.00 each if Pre-festival "cover coupon" is exchanged).
, BLOCK. C
Block-C consisting of all seats in the Second Balcony Rear--Sections XVII-XVIIIXIX-XX-XXI will be placed on sale Monday morning, March 23, at $4.50 each (or $1.50 each if Fre-festival "cover coupon" is exchanged).
On Saturday morning, March 28, all unsold seats in Block-C will be redticed to $4.00 each (or $1.00 each if Pre-festival "cover coupon" is exchanged).
SINGLE CONCERTS
On Saturday, May 2, the sale of course tickets will be discontinued and beginning
Monday morning, May 4, all remaining seats in the .auditorium will be placed on sale for single concerts, as follows:
Main Floor .....................$2.00 each
First Bacony ...................$1.50 each
Second Balcony Front............$1.50 each
Second Balcony Rear-Rows A-B-C-D-B
............................ $1.50 each
Second Balcony Rear-Rows F to 0 $1.00 each
Except that for the Organ Recital, Saturday afternoon, a uniform charge of 50 cents will be made for such seats as may remain throughout the auditorium.
