will appear in Hill Auditorium in the FIFTH ANNUAL EXTRA CONCERT SERIES, NEXT MONDAY EVENING AT EIGHT O'CLOCK, in a program of stirring band numbers. The following distinguished soloists will participate:
Nora Fauchaijj, Soprano Rachel Senior, Violin John Dolan, Cornet George Carey, Xylophone
In the same series the following excellent concerts will also be given:
November 12--DETROIT SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, OSSIP GABRILOWITSCH, Conductor, MICHAEL PRESS, Violinist, Soloist.
December 4--DETROIT SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, VICTOR KOLAR, Conducting, RICHARD CROOKS, Tenor, Soloist.
January 22--DETROIT SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, VICTOR KOLAR, Conducting, ARTHUR SHATTUCK, Pianist, Soloist.
February 18--MR. AND MRS. JOSEF LHEVINNE, in a Recital of Two-Piano Numbers.
Course tickets for all five concerts--$2.00, $3.00, $4.00, $5.00. Tickets for the Sousa Concert or other individual concerts--$2.00, $1.50, $i.oo,$o.5o, on sale at University School of Music.
The FIRST FACULTY TWILIGHT CONCERT (no admission charge) will take place Sunday afternoon, October 28, at 4:15 o'clock, in Hill Auditorium. A miscellaneous program will be given by MISS ORA LARTHARD, Violoncellist; MR. JAMES HAMILTON, Tenor, and MRS. MAUD OKKELEERG, Pianist. The general public, with the exception of small children, are cordially invited.
The next concert in the CHORAL UNION SERIES will take place Monday evening, November 5, when VLADIMIR DE PACHMAN will give a Piano Recital.
