Coming Musical Events
The University Symphony Orchestra, Samuel Pierson Lockwood, Conductor, Grace Johnson Konold, Soprano, will give the next concert in the Faculty Concert Series, in Hill Auditorium, Sunday afternoon, November 6, at 4:15 o'clock. The general public, with the exception of small children, is invited. No admission charge. Doors closed during the performance of numbers.
Guy Maier and Lee Pattison will give the next concert in the Choral Union Series, Thursday evening, November 10.
The Flonzaley String Quartet, Adolfo Betti, First Violin, Alfred Pochon, Second Violin, Nicholas Moldovan, Viola, Iwan D'Archambeau, Violoncello, will give the next concert in the Extra Concert Series, Monday evening, November 21.
Lea Luboshutz, Violin, and Josef Hofmann, Piano, will give a recital of violin and piano music in the Choral Union Series, Wednesday evening, November 23.
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Ossip Gabrilowitsch, Conductor, will give a concert in the Extra Concert Series, Monday evening, December 12.
Traffic Regulations:--By joint order of the Police Department of Ann Arbor, and the Buildings and Grounds Department of the University, on the nights of concerts in Hill Auditorium traffic will be closed on North University Avenue between Thayer Street and Ingalls Street. Taxicabs and private cars may use the entrances on both the Thayer Street and Ingalls Street sides. Interurban buses will park on the street car tracks in front of Hill Auditorium, facing west. Local buses will park on North University Avenue in front of the Auditorium on the Ingalls Street side, facing west.
Holders of Season Tickets for both the Extra Concert Series and the Choral Union Series are respectfully requested to detach and present for admission at each concert the respective individual coupon from their season tickets instead of presenting the entire season ticket.
Inquiry regarding lost and found articles should be made at the office of Shirley W. Smith, Secretary and Business Manager of the University, in University Hall.
