UMS Concert Program, : Anthony Gigliotti --

Please note the following change in tonight's program:
Michael Webster will be the soloist in Copland's Clarinet Concerto, replacing Anthony Gigliotti who was originally scheduled to perform this evening.
We are privileged to have Mr. Webster fulfill this engagement -he comes to Ann Arbor after four highly successful performances of the same work last week with the Rochester Philharmonic under the direction of Mr. Copland. Still in his twenties, Mr. Webster has established his concert career with recitals and residencies through?out the United States, and appearances with the prestigious Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and at the Marlboro Festival and Dumbarton Oaks, in addition to his firstdesk position with the Rochester Philharmonic.
