More than any other Spanish dance, the "Farruca" expresses most fully, dynamically, and fiercely, the masculinity of the Spaniard.

A fandango (heel dance) of Andalusian origin, its emphasis is on the power and virility of the dance steps. As with all fandangos, its completely "free" movement is not bound by any precise rules of style.

A Spanish Dance program would be incomplete without the "Cuadro Flamenco." This is a reunion of the entire company, gathered together for a good time and to compete in skills.

Encore is the membership organization of the Musical Society.
