The Monday Mix is an occasional roundup of mixes, compilations, podcasts, and more by Washtenaw County-associated artists, DJs, radio stations, and record labels.

For this edition, there's Michigan Electronic Music Collective Exposure electronica mixes by Low Pony and Merekat as well as an 11-track comp of original music by MEMCO members; Immaculate Conception Fruits of Our Labor dance mixes by Mercury Ulia, DJ Bayb33, and DJ Sphinx; an all-over-the-place Moods mix by former WCBN-FM DJ and Interdimensional Transmissions visual director Amber Gillen; a new Sounds and Silence podcast from Ann Arbor's Canterbury House featuring drummer Jonathan Taylor; a WCBN Local Music Show studio performance collection; and a resurrected Halloween comp by the We're Twins label.

University of Michigan's Michigan Electronic Music Collective is best known for the parties it throws in town as well as its Exposure mix series of up-and-coming DJs, but the group also sometimes puts out original music by its members, including the new volume of Sounds of MEMCO.

The former MEMCO members who graduated from college and founded the Immaculate Conception collective to promote women and gender-nonconforming DJs continue their holy Fruits of Our Labor series.

Amber Gillen, Moods 62
Amber and Brendan Gillen are former Ann Arbor-ites who helped make techno a regular presence on WCBN-FM more than 30 years ago with the Crush Collision show that he created. Now they co-run the Interdimensional Transmissions label and events, and her first mix released in more than a decade is part of the Moods series, which highlights longtime movers and booty shakers in the techno world. But Amber's mix only occasionally touches on electronic music and instead explores everything from rock and noise to funk and new wave.

Canterbury House's Sound & Silence podcast highlights the eclectic work of drummer and U-M grad Jonathan Taylor, who plays in numerous jazz and experimental groups in Southeast Michigan. The podcast is an outgrow of Canterbury's "Sound & Silence" nights that highlight contemplative music and meditation.

Various artists, the definitive we're twins records all hallow's eve experience 2002-2005
Jason Adam Voss used to co-run We're Twins in the early 2000s and he's been putting up the label's numerous CD-Rs on Bandcamp over the past few years. He actually posted this comp of Halloween music releases in 2017, but considering the season, it's worth highlighting today. Includes more Jib Kidder jams among many others.
