Non-Fiction Picture Book submitted by BickfordT on August 29, 2013, 9:51am I love the illustrations and rescue story. The illustrator rendered a sad, cold, scared little dog perfectly. Kids will be worried about the dog then burst with joy when he's rescued. The real hero of this picture book is the real life photos of the dog and his rescuers included on the last pages.
True Story submitted by KPNF on July 26, 2018, 7:03am Simple text about the dangerous journey and happy rescue of a little dog based on something that really happened in Poland a few years ago. The book also includes a map that helped us to understand exactly how the dog’s journey and rescue unfolded.
