Short and Fun Read submitted by wellscai on August 5, 2018, 1:16pm I really enjoy the Miss Fisher television show, and I thought it'd be fun to get back into the books. I have to say the show is better, but only because the show is AWESOME. Flying Too High is a pretty short book, but I was engrossed through the whole thing and couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more!
Quick and Pleasant Read submitted by kbcmmom on July 6, 2020, 2:17pm Sometimes you want a book that makes you think without evoking strong emotions. This series does that. I like the introduction of strong females in this book.
Silly and two dimensional submitted by 21621031390949 on August 28, 2022, 11:29pm Rather silly mystery that is part of a series set in 1920s Melbourne Australia. Written in the glib, chatty style of a 1930s glitzy movie musical, the characters are silly and two dimensional. Reading this one book of the series does not inspire me to read more.
