COMMUNITY REVIEWS

simplistic and to the point submitted by Sylwia on July 19, 2013, 8:43pm What can you do with a box? Or other things in that matter. The illustrations are very simplistic but cute and the story line addresses every child's imagination.

Imagintive submitted by AprilCDB on June 18, 2015, 2:09pm A fun imaginative story of how a bunny uses a box. I’ll ask my son what else could it be and have him use his imagination to come up with other ideas.

Fun submitted by kathscot on July 13, 2018, 9:12pm The two-color drawings depict what is seen and what is imagined. A fine fun book.

Imagination submitted by AngelaF on August 4, 2018, 7:41am This book is great for any child, especially the one that says I'm bored, It helps spark the imagination and shows children a box can be anything they can dream.

Love! submitted by scarlettsquill on August 10, 2018, 9:25pm A delightful book about the power of imagination! Simple but intriguing.

For toddler submitted by Arseli on August 22, 2018, 10:09pm This book was read to my son when he was 30 months in his First Steps Class. He didn't interested at that time. After 3 months of that I checked out it and now he is fan of it. Next time when I get the book, I will realize the ideas with cardboard box. Very imaginative!

good book submitted by dree411 on July 20, 2019, 9:14pm Such a fun book for a toddler who is currently obsessed with a box

love this one submitted by crp on August 25, 2019, 3:44pm boxes seem to be fascinating for toddlers. Highly recommend that you get a corrugated box and keep it handy for play as you read this!

Not Just a Book submitted by Meginator on August 29, 2020, 1:50pm This is a simple, yet effective, picture book that encourages readers to use the full extent of their imaginations to transform humdrum, everyday objects and occurrences into full-blown adventures. The repetitive text works well in getting the point across, making this a good choice both for reading aloud and for newly independent readers. The simple drawings alternately invite direct reader interaction and add layers of meaning through the use of overlaid colors. Altogether, the book proves that creative inspiration need not come from complexity; rather, it can come from something as simple as a single cardboard (not a) box.
