I don't believe it's based off of any popular religion but it's interesting nonetheless. In Everlost, kids' souls rule and monsters are around every corner. Great read for young adults.

Maybe I just don't pay attention to details but I probably wouldn't recommend you to read this book. I'm telling you to read the author's other series, unwind.
