Well enough but not the best submitted by Avliss on July 10, 2015, 12:39am I can see why this book is critically acclaimed, and taught to middle/high school students, but I honestly didn't find it too compelling. It was an interesting read, to be sure, and I liked how Yolen had her character Hannah deal with the impromptu time travel, but it felt a little...incomplete. And the ending felt like more of a cop out then an actual ending.

In short, it's a good enough read, but if you're reading it to actually further your knowledge of the Holocaust, there are a lot more books I would recommend before this one.
