Terrific! submitted by evie2017 on August 25, 2017, 6:41pm I adored this book. I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in criminal justice. Ford tells an honest and incredibly difficult tale of not only her journey but that of her patients. I heard Dr. Ford talk on the Daily Show about this book, and am so glad I ended up reading it.
Not a fun read

But, very educational. The prison system and mental health system are inextricably entwined and shown in detail in this book. Highly recommended.
