Good Series, Shows the Seams submitted by timdufresne on July 13, 2018, 9:13am In this season I am starting the think that Benioff and Weiss took on more than they can handle. Throughlines are being lost or forsaken and their belief that the lesson of the books is Good=Dumb seems to have taken hold. Finally, I don't understand their distaste for Stannis Baratheon, one of the most complicated and interesting characters in the book. Major missed opportunities.

Daenerys continues conquering, Joffrey is married to a Tyrell (for a very short time, thank goodness), and the wildlings attack Castle Black. Tyrion is interesting in this season, and his actions at the end of the season were a long time coming.

Major characters, both beloved and despised, died in battle, at their dinner tables, in their beds, and even squatting over their chamber pots. The acting was top notch, the storyline was great, and the special effects were fantastic
