Great submitted by anacoluthon on August 1, 2018, 8:11pm This movie and the soundtrack are quintessential early-2000s.

Fun for the family submitted by MMCochran on July 29, 2019, 10:24pm Watched it with my daughters. We laughed a lot-- especially the 10 year old

Great Throwback! submitted by Meginator on August 12, 2020, 5:59pm This film deserves five stars for the soundtrack alone, which acts as a nice parallel to Lindsay Lohan’s (Jamie Lee Curtis’s?) character: it’s pure early 2000s pop-punk goodness. Tough the classic switched-bodies scenario unfortunately comes about because of an exoticized depiction of Chinese magic, the film does a good job of gently building its theme of the importance of understanding others’ perspectives. Jamie Lee Curtis’s character lacked some early character development, but the women’s internal growth feels believable and genuine by the end of the film. Each of the lead actresses does a phenomenal job of aping the other’s mannerisms, to the point where the switch actually feels believable; this is a tough trick to pull off and one that sinks a lot of stories with a similar premise but, thankfully, they do it exceptionally well. Add in a good dose of teenage angst and ironic humor and you’ve got an entertaining film that works on multiple levels.

Loved It submitted by cathydobbins on June 15, 2021, 10:37am enjoyed watching as a family

Daughter enjoyed it submitted by jibkidder on July 3, 2022, 11:29am Watched this with my daughter, who is 6, on a day home from school, sick. She really enjoyed it, I was kind of expecting to enjoy it more, possibly from nostalgia, or just an ironic interest in Lohan, but I found it pretty boring. Completely aware I'm not the target audience.
