Gotta Love Babs! submitted by Rachel S. on June 27, 2013, 9:48pm Classic musical that tells the story of talented and stubborn Fanny Brice's rise to fame (and family strife) with the Ziegfeld Follies in the early 20th century. I recommend watching--always fun to listen to Barbara Streisand belt a tune.

Best submitted by crazypockets on July 16, 2013, 1:22pm You can't help but love Fanny Brice and her story in this movie. This is one of my favorite musicals and movies ever. It's funny and heartbreaking all at once. It's a very realistic look at a woman's rise to fame and how it affects her relationships and her life in general. The singing will blow you away, too.

Funny Girl dvd submitted by a2sue on July 19, 2019, 8:42am Before seeing Funny Girl on dvd, I didn't know anything about Fanny Brice, nor had I ever heard of her. But Barbra Streisand does a great job portraying her in this film, both acting and singing. Fun to watch!
