The Human Whose Name is Written in this Notebook shall DIE submitted by Dragonessa on October 3, 2009, 2:52pm That is the first rule of the Deathnote, a notebook carried by Shinigami and used to take human lives. To use it is both blessing and curse. You gain the assistance and potential gifts of a Shinigami but to do so keeps you from entering heaven or hell upon your death. Light Yagami claims the notebook and uses it in an attempt to create a new world free of crime. This is one of the finest manga series and every aspect of it proves it perfectly. The characters, plot, storyline and twists keep you guessing and hungry for more!

Shinigami submitted by Smileyfrowns on June 19, 2012, 3:07pm And amazing book, full of humor and strategy games against two people, Light Yagami and L.

Philosophical Thirller submitted by Theophrastus Bombastus on August 23, 2014, 8:29pm This book brings up some very deep thoughts. If you could kill someone without being caught, would you? What if they were criminals who have committed terrible crimes such as murder, arson, and robbery? Would you want to live in a society free from crime and evil? Whether you would or would not this series of graphic novels will keep you on the edge of your seat to find out how it will play out between the antihero protagonist and his opposition.

Death note submitted by JY 2005 on June 19, 2019, 8:44pm A great beginning to a great series. One day, Light Yagami finds a notebook on the ground and on the cover writes Death Note. He reads it and figures out how it works. Very intriguing plot and characters.
