As Expected submitted by Meginator on June 17, 2018, 8:20am I came into this album being kind of hit-or-miss about Ed Sheeran’s songs; he’s a great songwriting talent for sure, but his music doesn’t always connect with me for whatever reason. This album is more of the same from him, with excellent songwriting inspired alternately by r&b and folk. I was hit-and-miss on the tracks myself, but it's obvious why he's had such success.
