Based on a true story about the shooting death of Oscar Grant by BART police, the film shows a day in his life, including him spending time with his daughter and attending a birthday party for his mother. Book ended by real footage of Oscar and his family, Fruitvale Station shows the tough reality and impacts of police shootings.
