This was a fascinating book with a fascinating historical story that was so clever, and a page-turner. I loved the characters, and the strong characters of the boy and the pilgrim. Wonderful book, full of adventure, mystery, suspense, and a fascinating history! Great read, highly recommend this book!

Unusual and wonderful submitted by FordAlpha on August 14, 2023, 11:00pm It's not easy to bring the world of 1350 Europe to vivid life and moreover to create a compelling story that stays perfectly true to the reality of that world. I really can't recommend this book highly enough -- read it!
