Of Metal and Alt-Rock submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2020, 6:23pm This hard-hitting album sits at the edge of metal and alternative rock, taking the best elements from each and crafting a sound that has a good mix of raw power and emotive melodic strains. Likewise, the vocal style changes to suit the mood, with many songs deploying elements from multiple styles to create internal movement and progression. The lyrics I caught offered insights about finding strength in difficult times, and felt fitting to the musical style. The cover of “Money” is particularly good and worth a few spins all on its own.
