Taking place in a magical world with witches and swamp monsters, this book follows the adventures of a baby that should not have lived, a boy who should not have tried to kill her, and a mother who's mad with grief. Lots of fun-- and heartbreaking, too.
Probably about a 4th or 5th grade level, but good for all ages, really!
