Abominable Snowman submitted by MH17 on August 29, 2018, 8:04pm This movie is a disaster. It seems pieced together from a longer movie with relevant portions cut out. A lot of time wasted on irrelevant red herrings, a lot of talent wasted as the actors, particularly Michael Fassbender, try to make a go of it. However, the half-baked screenplay, weird editing choices and poor direction sink this movie. Maybe this movie is for you. But it probably isn't. Do yourself a favor: read the book or check out the audiobook. The original source material is better by far--chilling, mysterious, keeps you guessing throughout. This movie, though, wow. It earns its 8% on Rotten Tomatoes.
