For grades 8 or lower. submitted by Tassos on March 28, 2019, 10:31am You really cannot possibly watch this unless you are an 8th grader yourself, or younger.

Cripplingly Awkward submitted by jcnnifer on June 21, 2019, 11:39pm Although not everyone has felt the gripping anxiety that Kayla feels over not fitting in, not being cool, not being loud enough, etc., everyone can relate to the uncertainty that comes before fully embracing who you are. Thankfully I am far from being back in middle school and found many moments to laugh about throughout this coming-of-age tale.

Snapshot of middle school submitted by gxtan on July 22, 2019, 11:33am The movie does a good job of capturing some of the middle school experience, complete with all the social media and technology of the 21st century. In some ways it feels unpolished, but that makes the story and setting more real and true to life.

Eighth Grade submitted by Varshini on July 30, 2019, 3:13am Pretty bad movie in my opinion. Not at all a relatable film. 2/5 stars. :(
