Even though I really enjoyed the message from this book, I personally feel like it's very similar to a lot of other productivity books out there. The author provides a good variety of anecdotes and stories to back his findings, but I feel like this book is better for promoting WHY people need to adopt habit rather than provide insightful methods of breaking/learning habits for life improvement. Still, this is a solid read if you are beginning to look for aspects to change in your life.

The examples used have stuck with me, particularly the British cycling team's powerhouse changeover. A great read for anyone.

Haven't finished the book yet, but it already changed my life.
I've been a nail biter all my life, but for the last 6 months I've stopped after the book made me realize that that's not the kind of person I want to be. The process of getting there is a bit more complex, but this book was a big part of creating permanent change. THERE'S HOPE. HABITS CAN BE CHANGED!

Actionable strategies without being too preachy or judgy of where might be at now vs where they want to be. Examples of success stories without it being just a book full of anecdotes. James Clear is really good at articulating a wealth of information about the psychology of habit formation. I love the summary tables of how to build or break a habit. You can pop in and out of any section pretty easily.
