Nicely done! submitted by teri on August 11, 2019, 10:28pm Jeff Morrison brings these sculptures to life! It's fun and interesting to see the details that are often too small or too far away to make out. Well-researched history accompanies the photos. This book makes you want to visit each building in person.

Go Guardians of Detroit! submitted by ekjensen on July 23, 2021, 11:51am What an amazing book, filled with extraordinary photos of the sculptures on Detroit buildings, in particular, during the generous expansion and construction of the 1920's! The accompanying research, stories and history of each building and its sculptors (and architects) make for a worthwhile read for this native son reader.
Lots of photos submitted by hiker15 on August 5, 2022, 2:26pm There is a brief history of each building along with photos of the neat architectural details and "guardians". Also street addresses so that if you want to visit the buildings it is easy to do so.
