A fascinating look at how fracking affects people's lives submitted by TeacherN on July 26, 2019, 8:52am I heard about this book when listening to the podcast, Why Is This Happening with Chris Hayes. The author explained how she spent seven years following one family as they struggled with the effects of fracking. I think the book shows a very balanced view of the topic, why many people in the community support it, but also the devastating effects. I honestly could not put this book down.
