Dealing with Anxiety submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2022, 7:23pm This book has Todd Parr’s signature bold visual style and compassionate writing, this time applied to the idea of worrying. Parr’s definition of worry is concise and useful even (perhaps especially) for adult readers, and while he offers perhaps a few too many examples of what might make readers worry, his thoroughness will help a lot of readers see themselves in the book and, hopefully, apply some of his suggested solutions. This is a simple and sweet book with large-scale, full-color illustrations that take the bite out of what can be a very frightening subject, and it’s a great choice for anyone looking for a compassionate way to discuss anxiety, at any age.
