Similar to a Movie Adaptation. submitted by countmc on June 11, 2022, 10:23am Going to start off by saying I love the series. I would highly recommend either listening to the audiobook or reading the physical book before reading the graphic novel. Similar to the way movie adaptations cut out a lot of nuance of the written book, the graphic novel did somewhat of the same. You don't get as much of the tension or intensity compared to listening or reading the book, as the graphic novel moves through these scenes very quickly.

It was still a very fun read and if you are just looking for a quick take, its an overall solid graphic novel. That being said I feel I would've not enjoyed it/understood it as much had I not had the context of the audiobook beforehand.
