A Match Made...Somewhere submitted by Meginator on July 8, 2023, 9:57pm This compilation is just a bit disappointing after the wonderful surprise of the first, but it still makes for a fun and naturally well-suited take on the fall spooky season. With lyrics that both tell stories and capture more general Halloween-y vibes, the songs approach the subject in a number of different ways, giving the album good thematic variety throughout that adds the musical variation; the bands come from across the punk-rock spectrum, making this a good entry point to the genre (and its many subgenres) and a great way to find new music. Pairing punk with Halloween is such a solid idea that you could hardly go wrong with it, and this collection hits the mark.
