Just okay submitted by kmp009 on July 11, 2023, 8:42am The mystery is solid, the setting is cute, but I was left wanting more about the three main characters. Overall an okay read but there are better similar books.

Engaging Mystery submitted by segolden on July 31, 2023, 6:24pm I checked this out on a whim without having read the first Marlow Murder Club book, and that was not a problem at all. It was enjoyable as a pretty standard locked-room whodunnit. Towards the end I found the plot dragging under the weight of so many red herrings, but the conclusion was satisfying. I’ll be going back to read the first book and would happily return to Marlow again.
