I wish I had a fairy army... submitted by marshd on November 27, 2010, 3:23pm It was a bit slow in the beginning, but it really picked up into something fun around the middle, and then end was really entertaining. Definitely will be reading the next one once I get a chance!

So-So submitted by 0liviap0pp on June 25, 2011, 10:02am I read Fablehaven because Brandon Mull came to our school, but I thought it was kind of slow. I didn't really like it that much. It was a little interesting in the middle, but I didn't think it was that good.

Ok submitted by tree64 on July 1, 2011, 9:58pm The beginning wasn't that great, but if you kept on reading, you will grow to like it. So read it.

if the author haden't come to my school, i might never have read the series submitted by Bookbird on July 3, 2011, 7:02pm i can't believe how gullible the characters were at some parts (the milk being bad)

Do I smell soup? submitted by morganf on July 11, 2011, 1:33pm This was an awesome book! It was a little boring at first, but it got more exciting towards the middle. If you like magic, monsters, and fairies, you'll love this book!

Fablehaven submitted by Zhengyang1022 on July 18, 2011, 7:53pm I've always wanted to read this book, because i've heard its a really good book.

Fablehaven submitted by Chrystal on August 4, 2011, 9:18pm I want magical milk

One of my all time favorites submitted by jennifer-ricks on August 9, 2011, 3:43pm This book is one of my all time favorite books. Yes it is the beginning of a series so there is a lot of back story to give. But after that, it is so exciting and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I love this book.
I would highly recommend this book (actually the whole series to anyone who enjoyed Harry Potter.

Not a fan submitted by marielle on July 6, 2012, 12:57am This book is readable, but it's not all that engaging. I didn't read the subsequent books.

Fantastic submitted by Memoria1224 on July 12, 2012, 8:50pm I loved reading this book! There's a lot of magic and adventure in it.

Likable, but Kind of Dumb submitted by Jan Wolter on July 5, 2013, 12:01pm These books are interesting and engaging, but I'm always bothered by how dumb the good guys are. Given that they are guarding the world from annihilation, I which they were a bit smarter. There are these relics locked up in hidden magical vaults, stronger than anything that could be built today, which the bad guys are trying to get at. So what do the good guys do? They try to remove the relics from the magical vaults. I guess they plan to hide them under their beds or something. So given that all the quests that the good guys are on are obviously dumb, I find it hard to root for them. And nearly everything Seth does is ill-advised too. But aside from that, it's good fun.

I like it. How about you? submitted by Lilymarie on June 29, 2014, 8:44pm It was an interesting book I will admit, but I still like it. :)

5 stars! submitted by arader24 on June 27, 2022, 2:57pm I reread this series all the time. It's one of the best kids fantasy stories out there. It's utterly brilliant. I just love everything about it!

If you liked Harry Potter.... submitted by lyndadd on August 4, 2022, 3:50pm This is a great fantasy to read! It is fun for all ages but especially great for middle school age kids. I love that the main characters are a brother and a sister, and there is something about them for everyone to relate to.
