Nice kit, broken servo submitted by duedatebeater on April 24, 2015, 9:21pm Nice arduino starter kit, but like a lot of the unconventional items AADL's been circulating, it's seen some abuse, most evident by a chunk missing from the servo casing.

Great Opportunity submitted by cynthiaredinger on August 28, 2015, 8:47pm Yes, the kit was a little worn. I'm not going to complain because it was a great to have the opportunity to let the kids work with this kit.

Kudos, AADL submitted by rossorr on February 16, 2017, 2:41pm It's great that the library offers this kit to check out. You get a breadboard and enough electronic components to hook up simple circuits; plus a Sparkfun Arduino board. That lets you mess around with code snippets which interact with your circuit for "real world" results.

Be sure to flip over the tackle box the parts come in, and go through the booklet of projects which is included. Note you'll need a USB-capable personal computer to talk to the Sparkfun board—there are some hiccups to installing this for Mac but be patient with the instructions and it all works.

EVEN IF YOU ALREADY OWN your own Arduino board, some Pi flavor, a Beagle Board, etc. this is still an interesting kit to check out. You can try all the supplied sensors and LCD display and possibly get inspired with new uses for your own single-board computer.

Arduino Starter Kit submitted by c_zhang on June 19, 2019, 8:00pm A little worn out, but it was fun to work with.

Arduino Starter Kit submitted by Varshini on June 24, 2019, 8:10pm Arduinos are so cool. I built a system that can read and record my pulse.

On computer submitted by Adam844 on February 24, 2021, 1:35am Well, it really work according to our need :-
