Fantastic submitted by EJZ on August 3, 2018, 8:34pm I can't really decide what the best White Stripes album is, but back in the early 2000s this one was probably my favorite. Jack and Meg are not at their full musical powers yet, but stylistically they're incredible. Jack is unafraid to leave space between the bars and chords, unafraid to take it slow. Sure, some tracks feel dragged compared to later stuff, and you wish he'd let loose on a solo for at least a little bit, but that's some of the magic too. It leaves you wanting a little more.
