Mystery and suspense submitted by steveiew on June 28, 2018, 8:14pm An FBI agent returns home for the funeral of his friend only to find out that secrets that were once buried have surfaced. This book contains all the drama that comes with small town life, along with some good twists and turns.

good mystery submitted by jenifer on July 12, 2018, 9:43am This book moves at a slow pace without feeling like it's dragging. It fits very well with the idea of an ongoing major drought and heat wave that has everyone slowing down and worrying. Great small town mystery. I really enjoyed it.

cool setting submitted by bec on August 7, 2018, 9:39am The book's setting was the highlight for me- a remote community in drought-stricken Australian backcountry. Found the characters pretty flat, but chapters often end with some degree of cliffhanger that keeps things moving.
