'•t, 83, died early this morn-
iniy at the Chelsea Methodist
iHome where she had been a
resident since Aug. 16, 1962.
'She came to the home from the
Bad Axe area.

She was born Feb. 5, 1881,
in Belmont, Ont., the daughter
of Richard and Martha Cooper
Waggoner. She was married to
[Alfred Fitchett Sept, 27, 1905.
He died Sept. 22, 1949, in Bad
| Axe.

Surviving are one son, Avery
of Ann Arbor and a daughter,
Mrs. Edward (Grace) Smith of
Saginaw.

Funeral services will be at
2 p.m. Thursday at the Bad
Axe Methodist Church with the
Rev. Roy Johns of Bad Axe
and George Stanford, chaplain
of the Methodist home, officiat-
ing. Burial will be in Colfax
Cemetery in Bad Axe. Friends
may call at the Burghardt Fu-
neral Home in Chelsea.
